  40. I agree.  After having lots of problems with mysterious disconnects, I
  41. decided to try pushing up S25.  I re-did my winsock dialer script to
  42. drop DTR for 3 seconds (to hangup), and set S25=25.  No more problems.
  43.  
  44. I went back and did some more investigating, and it seems that the two
  45. main culprits were Free Agent and Eudora.  Why they momentarily drop
  46. DTR is beyond me (maybe they are trying to re-set the modem), but the
  47. above has cured all my hangup problems.
