- I agree. After having lots of problems with mysterious disconnects, I
- decided to try pushing up S25. I re-did my winsock dialer script to
- drop DTR for 3 seconds (to hangup), and set S25=25. No more problems.

- I went back and did some more investigating, and it seems that the two
- main culprits were Free Agent and Eudora. Why they momentarily drop
- DTR is beyond me (maybe they are trying to re-set the modem), but the
- above has cured all my hangup problems.
